Enduro racing has a charm few other mountain bike disciplines have. Where else can you ride around with your mates having a laugh and then pit yourself against them and the clock all in a single day out. It can be taken seriously or just for fun. As part of our MBUK x Scott Dirty Half Dozen series, we travelled to the MTB mecca of Innerleithen Scotland to race the Transcend Enduro, but our plan to enjoy the social side of the racing didn't quite work out, as our partner was sidelined with injury. But neither that, or the horrifically muddy conditions, could stop our Staff Writer Luke from laugh and finishing the day with a grin plastered across his mud-splattered face.
