The August 2020 special edition of MBUK – in shops on Tuesday and with subscribers any day now – is a bit of a Mint Sauce extravaganza. Every magazine comes with an exclusive stem cap and there are three designs to look out for, one of which features everyone’s favourite ovine off-roader. If you’re a Mint fan and aren’t lucky enough to get that one, then don’t worry – not only are the Ben Deakin and DMR stem caps pretty damn cool too, but you’re still guaranteed some sheep-related goodies, in the form of a set of four beer mats designed by Mint Sauce creator Jo Burt*. And the icing on the cake for subscribers is that you can enter an exclusive competition to win the original artwork.
The cover mounts
Every issue comes with a stem cap, in one of three custom designs – Mint Sauce ‘white sheep of the family’, Ben Deakin ‘OiOi’ and DMR ’25th anniversary’ (which is customisable with your name).
You also get a set of four* beer mats featuring some familiar faces from the cartoon strip, which combine to form a single Minty image.
* We’ve been notified of subscribers receiving only one beer mat instead of four. Upon investigation, this appears to be due to a miscommunication at the printing/distribution end of things. Many apologies for the mess-up. Subscribers can claim the full set by visiting this link: https://i.mbuk.com/beermats.

If you’re a subscriber, Jo Burt has a special treat for you – he’s giving away the original beer mats artwork, along with the rough pencil sketches he made before putting ink to paper.
