Patagonia follow the life of Monte Cosby in their new film, Monte: Can't stop. Won't Stop, as the American rider finds purpose and a community through mountain biking. Hailing from the housing projects in Richmond, Virginia, Monte's options were limited until cycling set him on a new path.

Now on a cycling team at Warren Wilson College, surrounded by mountains, forests and fields, Monte is a world away from where he started. He's used his bike as a way to bridge his two worlds, and hopes his passion will inspire others. Monte's goal is bigger than getting on podiums – he wants to help make the outdoors a safe place for all. “Making these places feel safe, especially for black people, that’s my goal," he says.
