The nominations are in, our team of experts have conferred and we’ve produced the final shortlists for Rider of the Year 2026. That means it’s time for you to vote!
As in previous editions, it’s up to you, the readers, to decide the winners of the Rider of the Year and Newcomer of the Year awards. The recipient of the Lifetime Achievement gong will be chosen by our panel.
One change this year is that there are eight mountain bikers shortlisted in each category, rather than 10 as before. This means the voting is likely to be even tighter – so make sure to have your say!
Voting closes on 14 October 2026. The winners will be revealed at an exclusive awards do on 26 November and in the January issue of MBUK.
