About the Malverns Classic

At its core, the Malverns Classic is still all about the riding. The race programme spans everything from grassroots to Elite, with highlights including British Cycling’s National Championships in both four-cross and dual slalom, the Balance Bike World Championships, and downhill, enduro and cross-country races.

Add in crowd favourites like the DMR Pump Track Challenge and the iconic Evans Cycles Lakeride, and you’ve got one of the most diverse race line-ups anywhere in the UK.

Away from the tape, the Malverns delivers arguably the largest MTB expo in the country. If you want to check out the latest bikes and kit, and get a handle on where the industry’s heading, this is the place to be!

But what really sets this event apart is the atmosphere. From demo rides and coaching zones to family-friendly racing, camping and a packed evening programme including a free funfair, it’s a true all-ages festival.

And when the sun goes down, the main arena keeps the energy high with big-name acts and a party vibe that’s become legendary in MTB circles. This year’s headliners include Orbital, Chicane, Bez from the Happy Mondays and Billy Daniel Bunter. Plus, look out for a special guest appearance straight out of the MBUK history books – DJ Doddy on the wheels of steel!

Whether you’re racing, riding, shopping or just soaking it all in, the Malverns Classic remains a standout date in the calendar, and 2026 looks set to raise the bar once again.
