After 10 years at the NEC in Birmingham, the Cycle Show is moving to London’s Alexandra Palace, where it’ll run alongside the London eBike Festival. Taking place from 22-24 April, the event will combine a huge indoor exhibition with a lively outdoor demo village, where you’ll be able to try out the latest bikes. What's more, there's money off entry for Mountain Biking UK readers and subscribers.

What's happening?

The final details are still being thrashed out, but cross-country superstar Evie Richards, downhill legends Greg Minnaar and the Athertons, and trials hero Martyn Ashton are all confirmed to attend the Cycle Show, along with manufacturers including Specialized, SRAM, Continental, Cannondale, Canyon, BMC, Vitus, Haibike, Schwalbe, Bosch and Ribble, plus some of the UK’s top distributors showcasing their brands.

We’re going to be there, too, with some classic ’90s MTBs and MBUK covers, and you can check out some amazing custom bikes in the BikeRadar Jaw Droppers gallery. Not only that, but there’ll be MTB skills sessions hosted by top UK 4X rider Scott ‘Boom Boom’ Beaumont, a balance bike competition on the kids’ test track, a Sender Ramps technique area where you can learn to manual, jump and more, an e-bike drop-in clinic for those thinking of taking the pedal-assist plunge, plus live BMX displays.

The purpose-built off-road test track will give you the chance to try out a range of mountain bikes, eMTBs and gravel bikes – with more available for younger riders than ever before. Organisers promise there’ll be plenty of climbs to properly test electric drive systems, along with technical descents to give you a good feel for the nuances
of each bike’s handling. For all this and more, grab your tickets now – with special discounts for MBUK readers and subscribers!
