MBUK Video: Should YOU mullet your bike?
Our Will shows why he's so fond of the business/party mix of a 29in front wheel and 650b rear
In the latest edit from our new video team, presenter Will Soffe shows why he's 'mulleted' all his bikes, putting his modified Commencal Supreme DH, Cannondale Habit and Specialized SX Trail to the test on the tracks at Tirpentwys, South Wales, to demonstrate the advantages of pairing a 29in front wheel with a smaller 650b rear.
Check it out below, and look out for more MBUK vids dropping every Wednesday on BikeRadar's YouTube channel!
In case you missed the last one...
Introducing the team

Will Soffe, presenter
Moustachioed air ace Will worked as a mechanic and suspension technician for the likes of Atherton Racing, Fox suspension, British Cycling and others before joining MBUK, so he knows a thing or two about bikes and how to ride them.

Max Wilman, videographer
Before joining the BikeRadar video team, Max enjoyed the cushy life of an overseas bike guide and then photographer. When he’s not staring down the barrel of the lens, he can be found trail building, riding laps or working on converting his big yellow van.
