The bustling northern city of Leeds in West Yorkshire isn’t the first location that springs to mind when you think of flowing trails and perfectly sculpted jumps, but at the recently-opened Leeds Urban Bike Park that’s exactly what you’ll find. In the latest issue of MBUK we headed over there for our monthly Wrecking Crew report, to see what’s what – and we had an amazing day being shown the lie of the land by some super-talented Yorkshire rippers. Grab a copy of February’s MBUK (issue 365) to read our full-report, and check out the video below for a few quick phone highlights of the day – snapped in the rare moments when we weren’t on our bikes!
Staff Writer Ed is a downhiller at heart but has been riding bikes of all types since a young age. He’s raced both nationally and internationally in downhill and enduro and has spent several summers living in The Alps and Canada, riding, roadtripping and living the dirt bag lifestyle. He’s also an avid trail builder and has scraped out numerous steep and technical lines in the woodlands of his native North Yorkshire. These days Ed will happily turn his hand to any discipline and he says that the sign of a good week is when every bike in his shed ends up muddy by the end of it.
