The Descent XC Marathon is a fun and challenging 3 day pairs stage race in South Africa. Senior Technical Editor Tom Marvin was lucky enough to take this race on with his good friend Nick.

As you'd expect, there was plenty of dust and searing heat that the area is well known for. However, that didn't put young Tom or Nick off, and by the looks of things they had a great time.
